is moldy library now safe?

the Santa Fe, NM public library was closed for 6 months after several

employees became ill. their doctors told them to work in another building.

I don't think any patrons became ill, but likely that they could not trace

where they got ill from.

They found mold in the ventilation system. they ahve now redone the

vetnilation, heating airconditioning systems, and roo, and repainted and

recarpeted. Renovations were $1.2 million.

Would it be safe to

- visit the library?

-look at books

-take books home?
