Guest guest
Hi All Now who is using the 'golf balls?' Mom was watching " Herbal Infusion " on the TV the other evening, when they told you how to reduce the swelling on your tired achy feet. Fill a bowl with warm water, add peppermint and lavender essential oil, [three drops of each] empty in some child's playing marbles and immerse the feet, massaging them over the marbles. So on the shopping list today was 'marbles'. At Moms age, I kept telling her she had lost her marbles. Locating marbles was tougher than we thought. I suppose with all the new electronic games, the old fashioned game of marbles has been shattered? After the sixth toy shop, we located Moms marbles, in a pouch, marked 60 + 1. Not quiet her age, but they would do! Tonight we BOTH had a relaxing time playing with Moms marbles and we both believe this is an excellent form of therapy for tired, swollen, feet. However, our bowl has ridges on the outer perimeter, so we spent most of the time chasing the marbles and placing them under our feet. Therefore tomorrow we are off in search of a flat bowl! Odd how one thing always seems to lead to another. Love and God Bless Gillian ...........Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease........ Moderator note: For marbles in the USA find a dollar store (where everything sells for a buck) and get a cheap pouch of marbles:) then to keep it cheap dig out a plastic basin from a hospital stay. Usually every hospital stay the hospital " gives " you miscelaneous items like toothbrush and lotion and they are given to you in a flat bottomed plastic basin. While you do that I'll dig out my heat and bubbles electric foot massager and rub my feet on the nubby thingies and pour some oatmeal bath powder into the water. Ahh..
