You can have them do an ETR which acts like an addendum with his IEP. But you will still be dealing with the social problems and his frustration feeling he doesnt fit in. That is why I homeschool with Connection Academy. My son has an intervention specialist. He has gotten the best grades of his life. Also, you local private schools may; have an Autism Director. Check into it. You childs grant money will pay for private ed. Your not stuck with one choice. Out there somewhere is a better option for your child.
