Hello,

I am Ann, mother to a Belgian boy called Matthias, 12 years old now.

I am on the biomedical pathway with a Polish Dan for 1,5 years now,

it is a rare thing in Belgium, DANs are totally unknown here, same

goes for a cure for autism, simply non-existing !

Since september I started to treat Matthias with Virastop what has

been a succes so far, first day I saw 2 red dots on his back, than a

minor rash close to his anus and on his buttocks. I need to up the

doses to 20 virastops a day for minor rashes. But the Dutch company

Cenaverde has run out of Virastop so instead I am trying lysine with

vitamin C with the same results. OLE didn't work for my child. I

don't know if adding in more virastop WITH lysine would give MORE and

BETTER results ???

I would consider Valtrex but my DAN suspects he is no viral kid which

I find very hard to believe because he regressed after MMR-shot at

age 18 months, has many viral signs : low muscle tone (cutting meat

with right hand !), motor problems (swimming and gymnastics), delays

in expressive and receptive language, ongoing problems with gut

despite all what I did, sound sensitivity (covering ears), problems

with normal hot drinks (always has to wait a couple of minutes and is

still too hot !). He is picking his nails very often and tends to hug

me all day, in the house, in the shop, everywhere, quite embarrasing

sometimes but nice !

How much virastop should I give or should he benefit more from the

high dose virastop protocol ?

Thanks a lot for your experienced answers !

Ann and Matthias (ADD-hyperlexia and in regular school)
