Guest guest
My Triglycerides were 1500 6 years ago but that was when I worked at another facility. I work in an OR and feel that this elevation is due to chemical inhalant exposure (methylmethacrylate--bone cement--used in total joint surgery). I am now on Tricor and Lipitor after years of trying low fat regime. I have been at the same place now for 5 years and just got a diagnosis of mold exposure acquired asthma and have applied for L & I. It has been a horrible experience to get there. Last year I asked for allergy testing and was astounded to find that I am highly sensitized to all of the molds that was found in the chronically saturated locker room at work. I had asked for testing to be done this past Jan. 2002 and it took until May 2 to get the results. Management is insisting the area is safe because the air quality was lower inside than outside. My HVAC engineer daughter told me that means there is a blockage in the HVAC system. Strangely, management does not want to test HVAC. Go figure. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the information. I will pass this on to Dave. He is absolutely scared to death. He is our advertising agent for the National Toxic Mold Coalition. At least I can tell him you still alive when yours were that high 6 years ago. Thanks for the info.
