I have NEVER been told to not take the folic acid the day of metho. I find this interesting. I plan to ask my dr at my next visit. Also a question with regards to gold injections. I had my second( 25 mg) this week. Last week I had 10 mg. The blood and urine test done last week were fine. This week the platlets were a bit high and the urine showed a small amt. of blood. The nurse told me to watch for signs of a UIT. I have none. She said if I did to go right to the dr and he would probably stop the gold. Have any of you had this? I really don't want to stop the gold as it seems to be the last resort for me. What does it mean when the platlets are high?
