Any advice for a cat with liver parasites?

Hello all,

My parent's cat is apparently dying of liver parasites. We don't know what

kind of parasite, exactly. But she has been at the vet's all week and is

declining. She will not eat, is severely jaundiced and extremely weak. Is there

any advice, whether it be zapping, cleaning up certain things in her environment

or herbs/suppliments we can give her to pull her out of this?

I apologize if this question is out of line with the purpose of this group.

We are just desperate to save her. I know Dr. address pet issues in her

books, so I thought it would be appropriate to ask here.
