Guest guest
Hi, I belong to mcs groups as I have suffered with this disease for almost 10 years. Knowingly for 5 years. I have been living in what I thought was a safe house for me. The safest I couls find after over 6 months of searching. I have recently been very very sick. Turns out to be the mold that has been continuing to grow in the basement because of a lame company not fixing the problem. The whole house smells. My family purchased me a dehumidifier that has been running 24/7 for about a month. It has significantly decreased the pungent odor. However it still lingers and I'm still very ill. I need to get a room air filter and have too many choices and am too confused right now to sort through the options. was hoping to find some people with same experience to give me a few options that have been helpful to them so I can begin my search. I thought I would try to make my bedroom a safe room but don't know how to use the dennyfoil I'm told I need. My floors are hard wood and the the flipside of the floor is the basement ceiling so I know it's doming up throught the floor boards and my vents are old fashoined (like 15x14 " ) and need to find something to filter them too? any advise, I'd greatly appreciate. Moving is not an option for me right now. I'm in the worst financial situation I've ever been in my life. struggling through disability and fidning doctors to acknowledge my problem. I have a tent in the backyard. I also have an ozone machinge that I run periodically but also have problems with thta. The mold I have found, I've cleaned with " safe " cleaner and then sprayed hydrogen peroxide on it and left it there. thanks,
