Hopefully, the County Commissioners Court has finally, as a whole, come to the realization that the mold problem in the courthouse cannot be solved by piecemeal Band-Aid applications - a filter here, a partial clean-up there - but by following expert advice to the letter and committing to a course of action for a longterm solution. http://www.athensreview.com/archives/index.inn?loc=detail & doc=/2002/June/13- 225-news09.txt June 14, 2002 County buildings to be tested (Southwest Indoor Environmental Corp. The seriousness of the courthouse's roofing problem stems from the white plastic coating the dome was covered with over eight years ago. The coating subsequently cracked from the heat, and now leaks are occurring under the dome's edges. There is no way to get under the dome to fix the leaks.
