Guest guest
For those living or traveling to LA in February: Enclosed is a flyer about a weekend workshop. I have personally worked with Mattes, the creator of the Mattes Method: AIS and Crandall, the February presenter. I highly recommend their work. The technique has helped cancer survivors, ALS, MS, Parkinson's, infertility, post polio, injuries, professional athletes, etc. recalls how several of his clients thank him for curing their illnesses. But always defects and says he just opens the soft tissues, removing obstacles. Thus, allowing the body do what it innately does: move and be healthy. AIS is a therapeutic exercise program that uses reciprocal inhibition and isolated, specific movements to reeducate the nervous system. In doing so the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, organs) of the entire body are opened and released enabling oxygen, nutrients, toxins, etc, etc, to be transported throughout the body. Personally, I found this exercise to be extremely empowering. Battling a connective tissue disordered that is classified as an auto-immune disease means one thing: chronic fatigue. AIS keeps me healthy and energizes me. Sports, weight-training, pilates, yoga, tai-chi, chi-gong, aerobic dance, jogging, biking...they all can be too much for me.
