Guest guest
Hi all, I sure do appreciate this group. I do not post often: I just listen normally. But, lately, I have thought that I needed to do a good and thorough colon cleaning. Can anyone tell me the most recommended method? I have purchased betonite clay and psyllum husks but really not sure how to do this. I have been reading the directions. Also, how would one know if she/he has completed a good colon cleanse? Thanks,
Guest guest
Dear Before I did a thorough colon cleansing I took a class at a community college about natural healing methods. The instructor was very experienced. I also listened to other people's personal experiences. I read a few books; the most important for me at the time was Dr. Bernard Jenson's colon cleansing book. I contacted a local experienced colon irrigation therapist and spoke with her several times before taking starting my cleanse. For the most part I followed Dr. Jenson's bulk elimination cleanse with the hydrogenated bentonite clay, psyllium, water and apple juice to disguise the taste alternating every 2hours with his suggested supplements; colonics every 2 to 3 days. Dr. Jenson recommends 7 days with a pre and post diet regime. I decided to let my body decide the time frame. My first fasting cleanse lasted 10 days. The longer I was on the cleanse the better I felt, more energy, arising early morning, skin complexion bright and clear, eye color clear and bright, tongue rosey and pretty, odorless breathe, etc. I started transitioning to food when I got hungry. I felt that my body knew what to do; I just had to listen and act with intention. Every cleanse since then (I started 1997. I guess I have done close to 100 colonics, about 10 formal cleanses like this) is different, some aspects similar, but always a little different. I am always tweaking and adding stuff. The more I learn, the more I apply. Oh, PS, I didn't start adding Hulda's info until about 3 years ago.
