Guest guest
Actually, the caffeine in Diet Coke and coffee is a diuretic. I've read that for every caffeinated beverage you drink, you should drink an EXTRA glass of water to counteract the effects of the caffeine! This has been hard for me, since I'm a Diet Coke addict, too! I try to only have two or three a day now (and we have a FREE soda fountain at work!) and drink water the rest of the time. > I too was glad to see that diet soda counted! Guest guest
LOL!! We go through Diet Coke like crazy here...between me and our sales manager...we've often said we just need to have tubes running from the machine to our offices! I'm constantly changing the Diet Coke box (the machine is like a miniature of the kind you'd find at 7- 11). > A FREE SODA FOUNTAIN! Guest guest
I noticed Costco (big warehouse membership store in the USA) has reverse osmosis water filter units you can install under your kitchen sink. My sister's b/f installed one in his kitchen and the water seems pretty good. If you are not in the USA, check with Home Depot or home improvement kind of stores too. They will have a display with literature. You can also run Reverse Osmosis water in Google search. One of our members uses Ellis filtratation, it might cost more? Check Dr archives it was discussed last 2 months. There are also shower filters if yours is polluted, look into a charcoal type. I got a vitaC type that infuses ascorbic acid to nuetralize chlorine. I used this treated water in a cool mist Vicks vaporizer when my son was wheezing with congested lungs. cleared him up within a few minutes. karen_sprague2001 <a1panic@...> wrote: Hi, We have polluted water and have a water softener. Guest guest
I use and recommend the reverse osmosis (RO) filter units sold by Filter Direct at http://www.filterdirect.com/prod01.htm. The water tester they sell with it is excellent. I have had a system for almost two years, and it gives wonderful water. It removes chlorine and most other things very well, but I cannot vouch for the all Clorox signature components. A food zappicator (www.bestzapper.com/foodzappicator.htm) will deal with PCB's, asbestos and benzene in the water, but the heavy metals and azo dyes, while reduced, will not be fully eliminated. It still gives great bang for the buck. Blessings! Guest guest
Distilled is best but Alkaline water is the most important thing for your body. You should be drinking water that is 9.0 or more on the alkaline scale. This will neutralize all of the harmful acids in the body and keep you from getting sick as often. --- montm0708 <montm0708@...> wrote: > > > > > Does it come recommends by Dr herself? Guest guest
Hi Dean, Dr. does not recommend reverse osmosis, she finds metals, possibly lanthanides in reverse osmosis water. I believe she mentions this somewhere in " The Prevention Of All Cancers " . I cannot remember what page though. > > > > Does it come recommends by Dr herself? Guest guest
I've read that drinking distilled water long-term will leach minerals from the body... only do it short-term like for a cleansing protocol. Guest guest
that makes no sence to me, distilled water is nothing but pure water, H2O. If that is a concern to you, I would add Sea Salt to it or your food as that has all the electalytes your body needs. I have been drinking nothing but distilled water for over 20 years. Guest guest
The best water you can possibly drink is Water high in PH value which will neutralize all of the harmful acids in the body. The human body is alkaline by design and acidic by function which is what makes us sick and tired. You can buy the pH. drops online very easy to do. I've been doing it for years and am very very healthy. BTW, it takes about 20x alkalinity to neutralize 1 part of acid. --- boondoc2001 <james.b.stanley@...> wrote: > that makes no sence to me, distilled water is > nothing but pure water, > H2O. Guest guest
The macro-elctrolytes required by the body are potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium. In addition, there are anions such as chlorides, bicarbonates, carbonates, etc which also play an essential role in the chemistry of the cells becuase they react and combine with the mineral macro- electrolytes. There are healthy powders and drinks in the health food stores that supply all of these nutrients. Cuns-Rial ND > > > > > > > > Does it come recommends by Dr herself? Guest guest
a, You may have overactivity of a hormone called vasopresin which retains water and dilutes the sodium ion. This ususally results from low blood volume. You may also have tissue edema whereby the water is driven into certain tissues of the body away from the blood stream. There may also be a condition related to the malfunction of the vasoprosin. have your physician calculate your blood molality and he'll be able to throw some ligt into the problem. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for taking the time to try to help me with my problem. I had never heard of vasopresin. I will have to investigate and ask my doctor about it. a Re: Water question a, You may have overactivity of a hormone called vasopresin which retains water and dilutes the sodium ion. I am not sure the tiredness because of the drops, so I stop for a while, today I took it than I got the same complain, make me kinda weak and just wants to lie down. tempo33x <tempo33x@...> wrote: Baking soda is used to alkalize water. -- In Dr , " M.
