Guest guest
Hello, Let me add some more light into the issue of body alkalinity if I may. There are separate chambers in the body and they all require different pH readings. For instance, blood serum needs to be slightly alkaline 7.3 (neutral is 7)in order to optimally saturate the red cells with oxygen. A pH below 7.2 is lethal and the body uses as many as five separate systems to keep the blood pH within a narrow range of 7.25-7.37 That will give us all an idea as to the extreme importance the body places in maintaing the proper pH. Another example is that of the thousands of chemical reactions ocurring in the body at any one time and assisted by enzymes. Metabolic enzimes (and digestive as well ) work in very narrow ranges and the body does whatever it takes to maintain these pH. All the cells in the body float in a fluid mass that has a great influence in the pH of the cell and its sorroundings. These sorroundings need to be slightly alakline as well. However the stomach needs to be strongly acidic. There are many reasons why this is so. Certain enzimes known as proteases (break down proteins) need acid pH in order to be activated. Harmful bacteria enters the body via the foods we eat. If we have a strong acid pH this bacteria will destroyed. The B-12 vitamin is activated by a cofactor present in the stomach and needs an acid medium to be activated. Mineral salts such as calcium, magnesium, etc. need a strong acid to break them appart from the rest of molecules thay are attached to. Again one needs a strong acid to split the minerlas. Unsplit minerals do not perform as they should and they are deposited in strange places such as calcium in the arterial plaque and in kidney stones. Taking sodium bicarbonate in an indiscrimate manner will neutralize the stomach acid. My advice is to stay away from ala\lining the body by means of bicarbonates unless you know what you are doing. The proper way to alkalinize the body is by eating correctly. You do so by reducing your meat (beef, pork and poultry) intake to about 4-6 oz a day and eliminate all dairy products. Reduce the amount of grains and eggs and increase all vegetables and fresh water as much as possible. In fact 3/4 of your daily intake should be vegetables, fruits and nuts and seeds. The other 1/4 could be foods such as sprouted breads and cereals. Eat as much figs and almonds as you can. They are highly alkaline. If this eating style does not agree with you and persist in taking bicarb do so by taking no mote than 1/4 of a teaspoon with your meals and never later than 15 minutes after completing a meal. There are ionized (split) minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium cesium, etc. in concentrated form that you can buy and use to alkalize your water. Never use sodium in excess. It over-hydrates you (edema) and raises blood pressure. I hope it helps FCR ND 3/4 of your daily intake of in order for the mineral tacid and stronglyrounded by a intersicial fluid with a pH linity > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Does it come recommends by Dr herself? > > > > Or by > > > > > > the Dr research association > > > > > > (www..net). > > > > > > > The reason why I ask is that I don't find > > > > > > reference to it in her books. > > > > > > > If you know where she recommends it please > > > > let me > > > > > > know. > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > > Dean > > > > > > > ----- > > > > > > > The nimbus water mini RO filter comes > > > > > > recommended by Dr. . Guest guest
Hi . Read your response on the water alkalinity issue. It looks like you are very knowledgeable about the proper type of water to drink. Would it be possible to learn from you on this issue by communicating with you directly or do you have a website that I can get more info. thanks. Guest guest
Bill The best way is not the least expensive. There are electrolysis machines that slip the water into two streams. The output can be adjusted to produce water up to 9 pH or so. Taking Magnesium/Potassium Citrate supplements will also help BUT the proper way is through the diet. The alkaline diet not only buffers the acid-ash food but also provides a host of antioxidants, hormone precursors, enzymes, etc. Health is not the byproduct of pills. Health is the byproduct of a healthy lifestyle. FCR ND Re: Re: Water question Hi , What is the best way and the least expensive way to make the water alkaline for daily consumption? Guest guest
What's everyones' thoughts about drinking out of a garden hose, it's lead-free and the label says it's made of " medical grade vinyl " . Do you think it's safe or what? I'm hoping it's OK since the water spends very little time in the hose, plus the water is cold. I know Dr. recommends HDPE or PVC but I can't find garden hoses made of those materials. Thanks!
