Guest guest
Should any of you ever have an opportunity to speak in support of Legislation, at any level of Government, I wish to offer advice. Speak only about the Legislation before you. Never speak about somebody else's proposed Legislation in another state or in Washington. If you do, you give the legislative body an easy out for they can say they are deferring to the other legislation. As many of you know, or who watched the ATT story this evening, Congressman Conyers Mold Legislation was discussed. Sadly, the reporter was not aware that the Legislation had never been submitted as Congressman Conyers said he was going to do. At the hearing, I spoke of the California Legislation because it has been passed. I also stated I had sent the same form of Legislation to Washington. You must watch what you say in Government hearings. Take it from somebody who has done Intelligence briefings at the highest levels of Government in Washington.
