Guest guest
Hi , yes I use Borax but only in the white laundry. I use soda crystals in the coloured. This is as well as the soap nuts because we have really hard water here. I dont' use it on hands or anything or to clean with as I have a substance which is called Feem which I get from QVC. This is marvellous for cleaning floors, walls, most things in fact. I just use unscented veg soap for hands, and all shampoo, shower stuff I make sure doesn't contain parabens or SLS or SLES. dee On 10 Oct 2009, at 20:51, susanla97229 wrote: > Hello Dee, > Thanks for the information about soap nuts. > > I am now using white vinegar for cleaning the counters, sinks, > baths, too. > > Are you using Borax and washing soda? > How exactly do you use them. Guest guest
Quite honestly , I haven't and have to use Fairy as I only have it on a 'quickwash' and it doesn't get clean with any of the alternatives. I do use white vinegar for the rinse aid though. dee On 13 Oct 2009, at 06:20, susanla97229 wrote: > OK, thanks Dee. > > One would not want to use Borax in the dishwasher, correct? > > I wonder if soda crystals would be good for the dishwasher. > > Has anyone had success with a dishwashing detergent alternative? > > Thanks. > > > > > -
