Guest guest
"However, I have told others there in your great state of MA that we would support legislation in MA if new leadership could be developed. " Well, there you have it. These are the exact words of Melinda Ballard. She would support Legislation in Massachusetts if new leadership were found. She means if they replaced me. She doesn't understand that I wrote the only Legislation in Massachusetts. None of her friends have bothered to step forward and write anything. Seems that Melinda needs to control everything. In Massachusetts, and every other state, any citizen can write Legislation. It is a right under the Law. She says I bashed Conyers Legislation. If asking to see what he wants us to support is bashing, maybe she is right. If asking to see what he has spent a year to write before offering my support is bashing maybe she is right. If pointing out flaws and offering advice to allow people to obtain justice is bashing maybe she is right. I call it Freedom of Speech. But of course when you have your own priorities and somebody gets in your way it is easier to accuse them of bashing instead of dealing with reality. In today's newspaper I read how the Bush administration just cut out a lot of Toxic Superfund sites across America due to a lack of money. If they don't have the money to clean up toxic sites that are killing people, where will the money from the Conyers Bill be found? I've asked this question of Conyers and Melinda and have gotten no answer. As I've said many times, if we start with getting corrupt builders and government inspectors dealt with much of the problems that lead to Toxic Mold will stop. To do this requires no Federal money only enforcement of consumer laws and a National building standard. Ken Moulton
