Guest guest
sounds like you need a few days at the ocean. you are in northern california, right? Try to get out to Muir woods, or the redwoods, or anywhere along the coast there, and see if that helps. you really should get off albuterol. the other thing you mention Flovent is that a steroid? (Flonase is steroid, anti-inflammatory, so just guessing. Flonase will give you nose bleeds). Also sounds like you need to move to another area, away from whatever is bugging you. We have cottonwood trees next door, absolutely torture. But at least we know the demon and can deal with it for 2 months of the year, part of that time LEAVING TOWN. At night I have the Vicks vaporizer mist machine going all night, using Vitamin C treated water. Makes a big difference for us. shefy7 <shefy7@...> wrote: Hello all, I'm still having the same freaking feeling that I'm struggling to get air. I'm not passing out or anything and I'll survive. Guest guest
Shefy - I seem to recall that low thyroid could cause shortness of breath and an unfulfilled breath. Have you checked your thyroid? Basal temperature test would be most appropriate, as bloodwork may or may not show it sometimes. Look up Dr.Broda book/info... Guest guest
Hello, I am always reluctant to give any information when people complain about shortness of breath because it can be caused by different issues, but what shefy is describing here: > > I'm still having the same freaking feeling that I'm struggling to get > > air. I'm not passing out or anything and I'll survive. But my > > breathing is shallow and I can't get the last part of the breath > > that's so satisfying and crucial. is something I've experienced many, many times. I do not have it all of the time and I've noticed it occurs more if I am in a small room with more than one person. Prior to being told I was experiencing this because I have hypothyroidism I always thought I was not getting enough oxygen. The sensation I have likened to a yawn and maybe that is helpful because if I follow through as if yawning I seem to be able to get 'the last part of the breath that's so satisfying and crucial.' Maybe this will help, shefy. > > > > Hello all, > > > > I'm still having the same freaking feeling that I'm struggling to get > > air. I'm not passing out or anything and I'll survive. Guest guest
I have had shortness of breath for several years now, but I was assumning that it was because I had 3 bouts of blood clots in my lungs. Now, I have scaring and atelactasis (spelling) in the lower part of my lungs. > > Hello all, > > I'm still having the same freaking feeling that I'm struggling to get > air.
