Guest guest
liver cleanse Hi HD: It's a piece of Cake. Not near as bad as it sounds.. Go for it! Walt Hi group, I'm a newbie. I've had a salad and a bowl of oatmeal today and will be doing Dr. 's liver cleanse tonight. Would anyone be kind enough to let me know what I'm in for? I'm expecting a rough night..... Thanks! highdelivery
Guest guest
Hi, It's not bad if you follow the protocol to the tee. Did you zap or take the black walnut hulls before starting? She says you can feel sick if you don't. I have done it five times. I mix the olive oil with the grapefruit juice, hold my nose and drink it with a straw; then immediately lay down. Also take four orinthine (sp?) It will help you sleep. Try to go to sleep as soon as you can. Don't move for the first 20 minutes at all. I've woke up in the middle of the night with a strange feeling in my stomach like it's full. I think that it's the stones. Unfortunately my daughter still wakes up sometimes at night and I have to get up with her. I actually tried to do one the other day. I forgot to zap, though I had zapped less than a week before I think. But I had a headache but didn't want to take anything since you're not supposed to eat or drink. I took the two salt water doses. Then went to make the olive oil mixture and even before I got it made I threw up. I think it was the headache. So I scrapped that cleanse because I didn't want to go through drinking that stuff and then just throw it up. I usually have to go to the bathroom a couple times before 10 p.m. That cleans out whatever is in you. Then in the morning basically liquid and stones come out, that is all. But you will feel very good after it's all done. Good luck, highdelivery wrote: >Hi group, I'm a newbie. Guest guest
Hi, I guess, I am lucky. I was so scared the first time I did the liver cleanse... and nothing " bad " happened (no vomiting, etc.) Maybe it's also because I am rather constipated all the time and this was a pleasant relief. Taking the epsom salt and-- in the evening-- the olive oil, grapefr. mixture, was no problem at all. I just gulped it down-- oh yes with 8 ornithine, because I have sleeping problems anyway. I did not sleep too well, but otherwise, had absolutely no discomfort. In the morning I had a BM... I counted about 200 stones every time I did it... and more BMs during the day... but the next day I always felt better... and lighter... hope that helps... Guest guest
Hi, and Walt, thanks for the encouragement! Sheesh, I just did my first dose of epsom salts and I already feel a little woozy! All I can think about is food, I am so pathetic! Yes I did the parasite cleanse, and for anyone who is out there (maybe I saw Walt with a question about getting parasites out in an earlier post) trying to rid themselves of parasites in the colon, I did four five-gallon colonics on my Colemaâ„¢ board while doing the parasite cleanse for a week and you would NOT BELIEVE what came out of me! I am a true believer in colonics. If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask away! > > >Hi group, I'm a newbie. Guest guest
Next morning. OOG. The olive oil/grapefruit juice/black walnut tincture mix wasn't that bad and I chugged it down in a minute. It was all I could do to lay still for 20 min because I already was running to the john every ten minutes or so. I've probably gotten out 150 tiny stones so far with lots of that " chaff " she talks about. I feel like crap but it's good to know that the stones are coming out. Thanks again to all who gave me advice. > > NoooOOOooo...I just knew it...Yikes!!!!! > > Won't that little bulb enema of mine do the job..Do I have to have > a big rig? > > melville ;-) > > Re: liver cleanse > > > > > > Mel, maybe you need a colonic! Guest guest
I think everybody knows this, but wouldn't Milk thistle be the best for liver protection, and probably for cleansing as it has silymarin, a strong antioxidant? Also, mugwort and some other herbs (Cyoerus rotundus, Corydalis turtschaninovii, etc) are probably good. cheers, Arnold DreamPharm.com

Guest guest
Hi Walt. Prepare to be grossed out! I started doing two colonics a week back in August. I've put coffee, garlic, and pickling salt into the water, and I find that plain old water (on the cool side) from the tap works best. Cooler water causes the large intestine to move better. At first I did not have any luck getting ANYTING out. My colon was too far " asleep " . So I went to a colon therapist who has a much nicer setup. She massaged my abdomen where my colon is and that really got me going. However, the next day I came down with a terrible cold that lasted four days. The colon therapist said she felt that the virus was laying dormant in my large intestine and jarring it brought it to life. I started doing week long parasite cleanses back in November. That, combined with the colonics, brought out a bunch of long worms that sort of resembled spaghetti. I'd say I've gotten eight of them out of me. Now, and this is gross, I always put a plastic strainer in the toilet as I do my colonics so that I can see what I'm getting out of me. A lot of sites say you'll get this hard, rubber like substance out, which is putrefied, petrified poo, but I've never had that happen yet. There are week long fasts combined with various herbs that you can do to get that poo out but I've never had the time to do that. I can make you feel pretty bad for a week and it's recommended that you stay home from work. What comes out of me is generally just hard, impacted feces and some that looks like it's fresher. I usually do a colonic every week and a half or so now. The difference between what comes out during a colonic and what comes out during a BM is that the stuff that comes out during a colonic stinks to high heck. Sometimes it actually smells like a skunk. I have no idea why. By the way, I lost six pounds in two weeks when I started doing the cononics. I have not changed my diet or exercise in any way, though I drink about 36 ounces of spring water a day to help the bowel move. I also take acidophilus tablets every day. I know that if I was more regular with my colonics and if I used colon cleansing herbs that I would get more out. I bought my colema board (the basic one) at www.amenhealth.com I wish I would have bought the more expensive model. Gross enough for ya? (grin) > > > > >Hi group, I'm a newbie. Guest guest
i think the chemo is able to be cleansed from the system faster and more completely if one does a serious cleanse - bowel, kidney, liver, the whole shebang - in a step-wise fashion, under good naturopathic care. I'm not certain, but if Dr. Schulze detox cleanses a lot of heavy metals and drugs out of the system, if done correctly and systematically, then I am assuming that would include the chemo. Guest guest
From: Keranahalli, Prakash <prakash.keranahalli@...> > How do you DETOX the LIVER ??? Most effective way by far is coffee enemas (or chlorophyll enemas). Other ways include beet juice, beet root, broccoli, sulforaphane/broccoli sprouts green bitter vegetables (e.g., endive, collards, dock, and dandelion), dandelion root, turmeric, ginger, schizandra, licorice, burdock, garlic, onions; milk thistle, artichoke; avoid/minimize sugar, protein, and fat. WellZyme Liver (herbal enzyme formula), UltraClear (by Metagenics), and Liv-a-Tox (Enzymatic Therapy; www.enzy.com) are reportedly good liver-cleansing products. Homeopathic remedies can be quite helpful. For more info, www.liverdoc.com (Dr. Cabot)
Guest guest
Does anyone know how long chemo drugs stay ACTIVE in the system? The damage to the immune system from the chemo can be forever, that's the problem. So why does whether the chemo is active or not, when the body is not active?.... One can suddenly have symptoms years after he did the chemo, and not relate it to the chemo. For example, astma. For example, inflammations, uncontrolled urine etc. Doing detox after chemo is not like doing detox without chemo. After the chemo, the body not only fights cancer, but also fights the chemo damage. It it especially difficult because the body can only fight with the immune system, but ironically this same system was destroyed by the chemo (talk about the logic of these treatments !) There is no better way, in my opinion, than to strengthen the immune system and let the body do what it wants to do: heal itself. Iris. [ ] liver cleanse Sorry I hit the enter key while I was on autopilot. I currently have metastic breast cancer, that is now in my liver. I keep reading about how a liver cleanse can help the immune systerm, but it seems to me that I would want my chemo in my liver and not detoxify it. Does anyone know how long chemo drugs stay ACTIVE in the system? Thanks Pati
Guest guest
I suggest every one who considers going through chemo, read what the chemo does EXACTLY to the body, BEFORE going to chemo. For example, I read in the conventional sources that people hear " cure " when the doctors say that the tumor " responds " to the chemo. " responds " means the tumor shrinks, but does not nean it makes one live longer. Chemo also creates new cancer cells, because chemo is carcinogenic Class 1. Iris.
