A search on www.curezone.com on " herxheimer " will reveal several posts

describing this detox. One of them can be found at the following link, and

excerpts of the post are below. Herxheimer normally refers to only the

detox resulting from parasite die off. It can be severe in a person who is

not healthy. It can be very inconvenient and uncomfortable even for a

" healthy " person who has not done some parasite cleansing before.

Whenever the body is in a detox mode, what it is doing is destroying and

eliminating pathogens, many of which create toxins. All these toxins are

being forced back into your system, and yes, can cause many flu-like

symptoms.

<snip>

Detox symptoms can include, headaches, low grade fever, joint/muscle pains,

sore throat, sinus conjestion, diarrhea, runny nose, blurred vision,

numbness, fatigue, depressed, brain fog, and even break out in rashes. This

is all good because you want the toxins to come out. As toxins leave your

body they can come out of your nose, eyes, ears, vagina, every pour in your

body. These symptoms are referred to as a " Herxheimer's reaction " , more

commonly known as 'die-off' of fungus.

The best way to relieve these detox symptoms is to drink lots of 'Steam

distilled water' which will aid the excretory system for elimination. When

ever you do a flush or detox program we suggest drinking no less than 2

quarts of water daily, and more if you can.
