On Monday, parents and administrators met again to discuss the mold problem. The school system hired Central Services to perform tests and remove the substance. " The test results show there is mold in the north end, " said Tom Hall, director of Central Services. " There are about 11 classrooms in that part of the building, and mold has been found in varying concentrations in all of them. " Central Services said workers hope to complete their work before teachers report Aug. 12. If the cleanup is not complete, students may have attend classes at local churches or charities until the process is done. The mold removal process could cost $30,000.
