Question: borax in dishwasher

Hi again,

I'm also trying to do the home cleanup and use non-toxic detergents.

My problem is that the borax (used as discribed in the Cure for All

Diseases book) doesn't really clean my dishes well and no matter what I do

with vinegar, all my glasswear is murky when it comes out. It's really ugly

and almost looks unclean.

What can I use for a stronger cleaner in the dishwasher?

And how can I keep my cups from becoming so murky?

thank you!

Ilana

PS: I'm using borax for the laundry and it's fantastic! Everything is

squeaky clean and it smells so good! (no soapy fumes).

Planet solutions is a Dr. approved all-purpose cleaning

solution. The url is:

http://www.planetsolutions.org/products.html

I have not tried this, I just ran across it while surfing.

I just went to that website and this is what is said in one of the

testimonials

Christel

Planet Solutions was submitted for testing to Self Health Resources Center,

owned and operated by Dr. Hulda and her son Geoff. The director of the

lab phoned to say " the test results are great! " (most products that claim to

be pure and natural have failed the testing). Carcinogen-free and

solvent-free products are rare -- your product is filling a great void. -- D.

Jewel,

Where did you hear about this cleaner? Sounds great!

I was wondering too, can't you add bleach in the dishwasher, I

know that most of the commercial ones have bleach in them.

Maybe we need to get powered bleach?

Dear Jewel,

It is my belief that Planet Solutions - as good as it

is - is NOT approved by Dr. CLark because she tested

it and it had benzene in it. Where did you hear it was

approved by her?

I saw it on their web site. As I said, I have not used it, and only

ran across the web site while surfing. I do not plan on using it, as

I like the products available at my health food store.
