My Visit to the Dr.. PLEASE HELP

Yesterday I went to a pain management Dr.. I really did not want to

go but my Orthopaedic and Sports Dr. wanted me to go because of the

Fibromyalgis and CFS. I also have arthritis and alot of problems with

my hips. I went in told him what was going on and about my house

having mold in it and us moving out. He then tells me that he wants

me to take some meds. for 2 weeks and then come back and let him know

how I am doing. My sports dr. had me taking a painkiller when the

pain was bad. Keep in mind I did not ask for a painkiller or anyother

drugs. I do not like taking such meds., but I will say this when you

are hurting bad I feel that it is ok to take them and I have. This

pain dr. says that he does not want me taking what my dr. has given

me because of the fact that it can be habit forming. Well he writes

me an rx for not 1 but 2 habit forming meds. Elavil 50mg and

Ativan .5mg.. I am not going CRAZY I have FMS and CFS What is it with

drs. thinking that it is all in one's mind? If there are any drs.

that would please email with why he would give me such drugs. I would

be thankful.
