Guest guest
Sorry about your husbands back. I myself have ordered an organic cotton and wood mattress. I wonder is there's one that you both could tolerate and would still work for his back. From: Ingrid <molokai_duo@...> Subject: abdominal pain... sorry, very long message Dr Date: Friday, August 29, 2008, 9:11 PM I just finished checking about abdominal pain in Dr. 's book. Two days ago, I suddenly had such abdominal pains that I could hardly move. I massaged my abdomen, but there was no relief. Getting up, walking, sitting... everything was excruciating. Even though I got worried that it may be an organ, I wanted to wait. My husband told me to go to the emergency room, but this is the last thing I wanted to do. Finally, I called a friend, a homeopathic doctor, and she told me to put a warm water bottle on my abdomen and this helped. The next morning I took worm wood tablets and felt much better, besides being quite weak. I still tried to figure out, what could have possibly be the cause. When I got the same cramps today, I looked into Dr. 's book and--of course--she explains the problem--bad bacteria! I am on a very healthy and " clean " diet and have not eaten anything different... the only thing that had changed is our bed. My husband bought a tempur pedic mattress a week ago. Is it possible that this is my problem? Dr. writes that any foam has to air out for about a year. We have been sleeping on a magnetic pad for years, but because of my husband's bad back, we purchased this expensive mattress. Does anybody have any suggestions? I am going to do some cleanses and will sleep in a different bed, but I do hope that this " super " bed, that seems to help my husband's back, is not the problem. I would appreciate any comment. Thank you, Ingrid
Guest guest
I am helping my 86 year old mother through the same pain right now. Not sure what it is, possibly an ulcer or gallstone colic. What has helped is a product called Glutalomine which has L-glutamine, aloe vera, arabinogalactan, and licorice extract in it. It helps me when I have some pain in the stomach. Of course, you want to rule out serious things like dissecting aneurysms, appendicitis, impaction/blockage, etc.! Her hands had been cramping (she has Lupus, poor circulation, and had been cutting in the yard for several days) so magnesium oil in hot water helped to relax the muscles. Good luck, and be careful!
