Guest guest
Hello Ilana, I read your story about breakfast cereal (as I was downing a bowl of cooked 7 grain cereal from the bulk department). I am sure there is something bad about the way it is made that isn't according to Hulda...and believe me I try to follow her recommendations and am sold on her research. However, before Hulda, I was sold on whole foods, organic primarily, which like you I sometimes have trouble figuring out what to eat. To be able to combine the two regimens is difficult and sometimes I just give in. However, giving in to healthy foods isn't something I want to get into the habit of feeling guilty over...regardless. To say I don't have good digestion is a huge understatement, and I think I found something that helps a little. I've been taking enzymes, a little tiny round beige capsule, with my meals and 'I think' it is helping. If I am not mistaken we are not to use brand names, so if you can figure that out...good. All the acidophiles, as well as all the other good bacterias I have taken before seem to have been eaten up by my stomach acid. Maybe there is really something to the coating they put on their product so it stays in tack until it gets to the intestines. May you be blessed with good health. Guest guest
I have recently bought a bottle of GB-3. It's from Dr. Larry 's suggestion. It's Ox bile and pancreatin, dehydrocholic acid and blsck radish. I'm unable to take it as it has Mg Stearate in it which I react to. Dang. Supposedly this gets past the stomach and into the intestines and kills parasites. Also so many of my NDs have recommended the commercial product VSL-3 which you can buy at any local drug store. Again, Mg stearate so not for me, but if you're not sensitive to it maybe one of these would be of benifit for you. Assuming you haven't tried them of course. It's a bit on the expensive side tho. Good Luck.
