Another family needs help!!

I cut this from a few emails that were sent to me. A family appears to be being setup by a government employee. ACTION IS NEEDED.

This email is from Bille Teague, who has a complaint at HADD about Homevestors, and part of the problem was a really badly botched FHA inspection. She emailed me today that the inspector has verbally tried to get the Teagues to drop their complaint in exchange for what sounds like a "promise" from this inspector to make things right. Sounds like a bribe to me. The Teagues are not stupid, and are not willing to let him off the hook, nor do they believe he will make things right. Has anyone heard of this sort of thing before? I am not real clear on who the inspector really was working for that screwed up, but repairs that were to be done before closing were not done. I think FHA is going to discipline this inspector, and that's why he's trying to cut a deal w/the Teagues. Her husband is going to be home when the inspector comes. She does not have a tape recorder. -

Complaint -

The inspector just called.

He's coming by today about 2:00. (He said, "Sorry I didn't call yesterday, I got tied up.")...yeah...right.

He also stated, "I am used to inspecting mainly manufactured homes. I'm not used to inspecting colonial houses like yours. (ours was built 1920.)

He then said, "I should have opened the windows & made sure they would open." I told him, "As I said before, there are many other major things wrong with our house. I just got a copy of the new appraisal that was recently done, which states all of the problems.

He also stated, the sellers should have fixed these things before closing. (Well no shit, mister.)

He also said, I would appreciate if you contacted HUD & told them me & you & your husband were going to take are of this situation. (A siren went off in my head.)

I said, "Who is going to fix these repairs?" He said, "We will talk about that when I get there." (another loud siren went off in my head.)

He then said, "I want to work this our, between me & ya'll & keep HUD out of it (as the middle man). (Sirens are REALLY blaring in my head at this point....LOUD sirens.)

As soon as I got off the phone, I wrote HUD & the lending co. ( & sent a carbon copy to the title co.) in which I told them: (shortened version).

-about Mr. 's statement about he usually inspects manufactured homes & wasn't used to ones like ours

-he wanted to take pics of our house, & would talk to us (about who would pay for the repairs) when he got here.

-I told them we would NOT sign a release concerning Mr. until ALL repairs stated on the appraisal report are done.

-I also said, "We are very confused about Mr. 's intentions in this matter. Who is going to pay for these repairs?
