Echinacea is good for bacterial infections

Silver and lysine is good for viral infections

-- Aternative to antibiotics

Hi all,

I was diagnosed having a urine infection and prescribed antibiotics,

of course. I wonder if colloidal sivel is the best option.

I would appreciate your comments and recommedations, please. What the

best option to treat an infection apart from antibiotics?

Thanks

pure cranberry juice works pretty good on urinary tract infections, from kidneys

on down. Try to get 100% juice without sugar.. Trader Joe, or natural foods

section at your grocer or health food store. It is very sour, you can dilute a

bit with purified water, or there are cranberry capsules you can take too. It

is so effective you will be cured practically in less than 24 hours, but

continue taking the juice all week even after you feel no symptoms. Garlic

also helps. Garlic is a good natural antibiotic but for kidneys/ bladder I

think cranberry is the best.

I would always use colloidal silver.

It is essential though that it gets to the site of the infection.

In case of a bladder infection, it is more effective to apply it

from below (inject with an injection container with the needle

taken away) than from above (drinking).

My husband cured a bladder infection from below (injection) and

I cured one from above (drinking). Both methods work, but the

injection method worked faster.

Silver is mother Earth true antibiotic... Silver is the single most

effective antiviral and bactericidal agent known! Silver works as a catalyst,

disabling the enzyme that one-celled bacteria, fungi and viruses use for their

metabolism. Because no known disease-causing organism can live in the

presence of even minute traces of silver, Silver is effective against more than

650

disease causing pathogens. (Antibiotics are only effective against about a

dozen forms of bacteria and fungi, and never viruses!) Silver works great

for ANY kind of infection, cuts, scrapes, colds, flu, head, sinus, and ear

infections. GREAT FOR KIDS.

I read that echinacea increases natural killer cells by something

like 13%; how does the immune system work on urinary tract infection?

How about d-mannose?

Hey, that's it - cranberry's claim to fame in UTIs is the d-mannose in

it; you can get mannose purified and get a much larger dose than

powdered juice. It should work overnight.

Silver is effective, and I use it, but it has to be applied correctly

like any other remedy. I have information to the effect that because

silver is excreted via the stool it's very unlikely to be effective in

the urinary tract infection.

I work with the public and am constantly exposed to every crappy

illness going around. So I have had to really study what worked for me

in keeping the illnesses to a minimum and to get rid of them as fast

as I could. People just don't want me hacking into their lattes for

some odd reason! :)

In that research effort, I have always found goldenseal root (waaaay

better than pau'd arco) to work best for bacteria and echinacea

purpura (not augustfolia) to work great on virus. Silver works

spectaularly on fungus, especially on skin stuff like athlete's foot.

Taking it internally hasn't really done me much good but kill off my

friendly bacteria. Maybe I don't take enough or? I did try gargling

with it too, when I felt an illness starting in my throat, but I had

to do it every 10 minutes or so to get it to work.

I also use the magnetic pulser from Dr. Bob Becks protocol and it is

even more impressive with its ability to kill both virus *and*

bacteria immediately! It doesn't do as well on fungus though, although

I am not sure why. And it does nothing for parasites.

Anyway, I usually try to hit any illness with all of the above from

the git go, and I rarely if ever get past the sore throat phase. :)

It is in the blood stream before it gets to the stool. That means

that it can work everywhere, unless the blood doesn't get to

the surface.

That means that the lining of the bladder and the lungs are

better treated with a method that bypasses the blood stream:

inhalation in case of the lungs, injection through the

urinary system in case of the bladder.

Tooth infections are also difficult. The critical point is

always how to get the silver to the infection site.

Ohh and if I start to feel a bladder infection coming on, I usually

take a couple capsules of a good multi-strain acidopholis. That

usually stops it cold. :)

Hi Ruth,

Hope you are already feeling better! I've had both a

kidney and also a urinary/bladder infection in the

past few months, and didn't want to start a cycle of

antibiotics. Both infections were pretty severe.

Several things have worked wonderfully for me:

At least a tablespoon or two of 10 ppm to 20 ppm good

quality colloidal silver, such as MesoSilver or the

type below:

http://www.utopiasilver.com/testimonials/urinary_tract_infection.htm

I take it in divided doses on an empty stomach during

the day, and hold it under the tongue as long as

possible before swallowing. We also make our own cs,

and i follow with a swallow or two of that.

Grapefruit seed extract is good in divided doses,

several drops in empty pill capsules along with

Oregano Oil also. Probably no more than about 15 drops

each *total*, and drink a glass of water with each

pill taken.

Echinacea & Uva Ursi drops in water are good, along

with Cranberry pills for bladder infection. I also

drink a teaspoon of Barley Grass Powder in water

several times a day for good health, not just for

bladder infection. During the worst of the infections

i also took 8,000 to 10,000 mg Vitamin C daily.

Hope this is helpful, and i would have more info of

what helped me if you want to email.

Have you tried Orogano Oil? I get it in gel caps. Oregano Oil is

supposed to be a very good natural antibiotic. So far for me it has

worked. You can read up on it first if you have any questions or concerns.

Hi ,

Yes, the oregano oil has been one of the things that

have helped to heal the infections. (Right now the

second infection is nearly completely gone, but i'm

still continuing the protocol because i think it

started up because i quit too soon after the first

one. Even though i had felt completely recovered,

there must have been a trace of infection remaining.)

I took about 15 drops of oregano oil in empty capsules

divided during the day, and have now cut the amount

down to about 10. NOW brand has bottles of the oil for

a good price and each lasts a long time.

We use oregano oil and colloidal silver whenever we

feel an illness coming on, and i can't remember the

last time my husband and i were really sick for any

length of time.

Thanks for writing:)

Hi Joy

I really appreciate your comments and recomedations! Sadly I started the

antibiotics, and having some horrible side effects from it. I wish I was more

patient, but I was in a lot of pain and panic a bit.

Any recomendations now that I started the antibiotics? What next?

Thanks very much indeed.

Hi Ruth,

You are welcome:) Yes, i do understand about the pain

from these infections, as i went through that too!

As far as recommendations, just what i might do....I

would be taking a good quality vitamin and Vita C now

along with the antibiotic, along with drinking plenty

of good water with at least 3 rounded teaspoons Barley

Grass Powder total daily. These things shouldn't

interfere and can build your system up.

And have you heard much about foot reflexology? I have

had great success as an amateur, just following charts

and directions from a few purchased books on the

subject. Organs in the body such as the kidneys and

bladder are definitely sore in the corresponding

places on the feet if there is a problem with them.

Spending a few minutes daily massaging these areas on

the feet can have a real benefit in healing/restoring

the body. (Over 10 years ago, i even healed up bulging

discs in my back through foot reflexology and possibly

avoided surgery.)

We have also been trying to eat a mainly raw diet of

vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts and seeds with just a

little cooked meat etc. We feel a LOT better for doing

this! I also make our own Glyconutrient powder, of

which we take a few teaspoons daily.

As i finished the antibiotic course, i would eat a

little plain yogurt or take acidophilus (sp?) powder.

To prevent starting up another infection, as many

people do after antibiotics, i would then take at

least a little CS daily for a time and in the future

if i felt any symptoms at all. (After my own

experiences with these awful infections, i'm going to

be on the lookout for them, and will sure have the CS

on the ready!) I also think the Oregano Oil and GSE

are some of the most powerful infection fighters we

have found.

Hope this is helpful, and best wishes,

Joy

Hi Ruth,

Some people may object, but I used GSE (grapeFRUIT seed extract) with

great success in treating my wife for two bronchial infections about 2

years ago. I wouldn't recommend taking it on a regular basis, but if

ill, it seems to work quite well in higher doses.

My wife cured brochial infections in 3 days by taking 2 capsules,

twice a day. Each capsule was hand filled with 37 drops of liquid

GSE. This is much more than often recommended for various issues, but

smaller amounts just didn't seem to do much.

You might try just taking a few drops first to check for any

allergies, and if not, then jump to half a cap the first day, full cap

the next day, and two caps the following day, as long as you don't

have an allergy.

GSE is also very inexpensive, only about $12.00 for a good size bottle.
