Philip while I agree with some of the things you had to say, I think I can

answer these two questions.

Bill had mentioned that he wanted to prove that his mom was really dead,

(when it was questioned), and that he trusted me, so he sent me the newspaper

of January 14, 1997, that does indeed list his mom's death. He was listed as

one of the children. His letter also had his return address. Bill and I have

many issues of disagreement, but if he is indeed Bill Ross is not one of

them. I also met him at the open house.

PS. While it appears that he has rejected Hulda's research, don't be too

sure. Many times people are put on the defensive and it restricts what one

may really believe. He still believes there may be a chance that Hulda is

right. And if she is, he has stated that he would be very sorry to have tried

to stop her work, in any way. If adults can discuss things, disagree, and

still maintain respect for one another, it will greatly leave the door open

to better honest communication.
