I think it is the safest soap, shampoo, etc... no chemicals, etc. Ingrid ________________________________ From: <tanyacain55@...> Dr Sent: Thu, May 6, 2010 2:23:19 PM Subject: safest hair shampoo hello! i am just curious if anyone knows more about using borox for hair shampoo.. i use it for my and my babys hair and my family is worried that im doing that! Guest guest
Borax is safe, but pretty nasty as a shampoo, especially long term. I would say we have found the best safe shampoo to be the Perfect Cleanse Bath & Shower Gel (based on coconut ambrosia) from www.safersoaps.com. It is pure, and a delight to use, especially if you have been using borax, as we used to do. God bless you! Guest guest
http://www.modernwife.com/huldabody.html Go to about the fifth recipe down - the one UNDER Hair Spray recipe and it says HOMEMADE SOAP that's what I use except I lower the amount of LYE a little... I use it to bath in, to wash my hair with, and to use instead of shaving creme. Dr From: realty21plus@... Guest guest
Be sure to use OLIVE OIL version NOT the LARD version. Also you must check which olive oil is ok --- Bartolli use to be safe per Dr. but that was years ago don't know if it is ok now or not - many are not - and usually always the more refined ones are the worst ones.... I buy mine now from Dr. 's store in san diego its high though over $10 per 1/2 quart. use to be about $10 per quart....They also sell the soap already made if you don't want to bother with making it.
