Guest guest
In regards to the taste buds and zapping, have not had a problem. However, from what you have written, sounds like you have your taste buds back in good working order. Everyones' body is different as far as what areas may be affected by bacteria, etc, one of yours was the taste buds and I would be elated to go through that and have the taste buds back and a handle on diabetes and a viral infection. It didn't take us overnight to acquire whatever dis-eases our bodies may have, most of us it is years and years in the making with wrong diets and nutrition, contaminated environments, medicines that plaque up the body, so we need to be patient and steadfast in our recovery. Many of us are used to the " quick fix " of the medical world when all the while that is all it is , a " quick fix " , not necessarily and usually not a permanent fix. Sounds like you have some health successes in a very short amount of time. Guest guest
Zapped my taste buds?? I have tried zapping a couple times and every time I ended up not able to taste anything for nearly a week.. with a good three week period required for a full recovery of my sense of taste! Anyone else have this problem?? Or any idea why this is happening to me?? I can tell the zapping worked to deal with both a long term viral infection and my diabetes, but I am not sure I could stand to live the rest of my life with everything tasting like unsalted crackers, tofu and vegetable shortening! Dear Sandie; I've never heard of that problem re Zapping..but then I'm relatively new at this myself..How are you positioning the handholds of the zapper? I've been holding them on either side of my jawbone; close to the mouth to treat a tumour under my tongue..Now it would seem that this positioning of the handholds would affect the taste buds and yet I've had no problems tasting.. The tumour in my mouth has not decreased that much; but yet again it's not increasing and causing pain as it was before I started on this program about 3 weeks ago..I've read Phyllis's remarks about things taking time and I tend to agree..I didn't get this problem overnight; nor will it go away overnight; but IT WILL GO AWAY...Amen? I would sure like to hear from someone who has defeated this " oral cancer " (squamous cell cancer) so that we can compare notes..Being new on this program I'm a bit confused as to how to decrease the size of this tumour under my tongue. I'm just about to go on the " bowel program " in hopes that this will reduce the size and enough healing take place so that I can wear my bottom dentures and begin eating solid foods again..I would of course accept advise from anyone who has suggestions as to what my problem could be.. Godbless y'all...mel ;-)
Guest guest
Hi Phyllis... So what you are thinking might be the case, is that the bad bacteria/viruses etc, might have been especially dense on my tongue/tastebuds? And that in the process of killing off the bad stuff, it zapped my tastebuds too? Hum.. why has it happened more than once then? Both times I lost all taste except for a small ability to taste salt. I am extremely paranoid to try zapping again because I really enjoy eating and with the tastebuds outta order, life feels pretty sucky! Of course it shows me how much I depend on food for comfort, but that is a whole different forum! hehhe If it is bad stuff on my tongue, how many times must I go thru this loss of taste, do you suppose? > > In regards to the taste buds and zapping, have not had a problem. > However, from what you have written, sounds like you have your taste buds > back in good working order. Guest guest
Hi Mel... I appreciate your feedback about not having any tastebud function loss from zapping even though you are using it right by your tongue. I am going to try zapping again after the first of the year (missed Thanksgiving yumminess thanks to NO taste, and I am not gonna miss christmas too!! *pout*) I hope, as Phyllis thinks, the zapping will stop killing my tastebuds as I get rid of possible infectious organisms over time, that might be most condensed there. I am glad you are getting a handle on your problem too.. from what I am reading here and there, it sounds like you may need to take more drastic measures, like dental metal removal, and making sure you aren't still eating or exposing yourself to the toxins that encourage the flukes to prosper, which from my understanding is isopropyl alcohol, in particular. I am really new to all this too, though, so you might see what others say about your question as well. Maybe even post a msg specifically asking that question. Others may not read a reply to another issue, if they aren't having any problem with it. > Dear Sandie; > I've never heard of that problem re Zapping..but then I'm relatively new at this myself..How are you positioning the handholds of the zapper?
