Guest guest
My comments regarding the latest textbook on mold and bacteria poisoning, MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY by Murray et al, 2002 ($57.00) dealt with disinfecting and germiciding objects in the home............NOT remediation. Sheetrock, insulation, etc. contaminated with toxic mold should be removed......they can NOT be disinfected. Besides removal and replacement costs on average $1.50/ft. sq while "remediation" costs are more like $15.00/ ft. sq. (EPA) Yes, "dead" mold spores killed by bleach can also be toxic. Dr. L.
