As I have said many times, I am willing to support Mold Legislation when I am allowed to see it. Conyers has yet to allow me to see his. All I keep seeing are his wish list and have commented on it.

The only communications from his office, besides Ms. threatening to have me arrested when I asked to see the legislation, was a 5 minute phone call some weeks ago. At that time I asked to see the written legislation and was again rebuffed.

Communications is a two way street. He refuses to communicate. Perhaps he should offer support for my Legislation. Isn't that fair if he wants support for his? Mine is written and before Committee while his remains a wish list.

Remember, my family and I did a lot of the research, calling, writing and support for a lot of folks out there. When we asked for help a lot of groups remained silent but they had no problem flying to Detroit for Conyers and his wish list. We were asked by some in California to write to Governor last year for their mold bill and did so immediately. When I asked them, only HADD folks responded. Where was everybody else?

Right now only HADD and NTMC have shown their concern for mold by speaking in support of the only written legislation out there. Many others have asked me to send my legislation to their states to include folks from Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, Arizona and Georgia.

These folks have seen my mold bill and know what it says. They know it also has accountability. Those that have seen the Conyers wish list support mine because it is written and being heard. I have never given my voice, or asked others to support, to something that I am not allowed to read. I thought all of us in this mold fight were suppose to be equal but it appears from the politics being played by some we are not.

If anybody wants to support Conyers they can. I cannot support what I have not been allowed to see.

Ken
