Guest guest
I had to write on this one. Yes, the belief is held in certain research circles that the increase in candida in victims of toxic mold is due to the fact that the mold is a living entity and multiples, be it in the air or in the body. My understanding is that it is mold in the atmosphere and fungus in the body. Candida is a yeast which falls into the fungus dept. Garth Nicholson, Molecular Institute, Calif. noted that he had found a mycoplasma in the blood of the candida family, in Gulf War Vets. I have spoken with them on different occassions regarding their research and am attempting to list him with us on our medical advisory committee. I do believe there is treatment if not cure for this GWS, from the biological standpoint, however the chemical agent devastation is much harder to find remedy and treatment for, since there is nothing natural that stands up to fight the mutated natural products in the man-made chemical weapons. In terms of recovery you stand a better chance with the fungus , mycoplasma, and biological exposures than the chemical ones. I have had both, so I speak from experience. There are some naturopathic treatments that work on the fungal(mold) and there is doxycycline the antibiotic of choice for GWS. It works well on the effects of infection for mold complications too. I met a baby a few years back that was palor, anemic and looked to be dying of mold. Infants must in my opinion be treated quickly in order to stop long-term damage to the immune system and organs. I created my own special natural treatment for over two years which I implemented daily and faithfully. Apparently it has kept me alive and rid me of the panic attacks that go with Mold exposures also. It has helped. Dr. Lipsey is cetainly a leader in the field of toxicology and is a definate person to contact. Garth Nicholson can be reached through the Molecular Institute in California. You can link onto the Gulf War Vets site through our site at the National Toxic Mold Coalition, off our resource page. or click on gulfwarvets.com Joyce Riley our hero lives in Missouri and is an avid fighter for the rights of Gulf Vets. Most Recently legislation passed that Gulf War Vets suffering from Lou Gehrigs Disease are eligible for disability. Questions, feel free to contact us.
