Guest guest
I'm wondering if there is an update on which materials are safe to use in fillings? Tammy
Guest guest
Tammy, Here's a link to a blog that may be of interest to you. http://orbisvitae.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat & Number=11611 & site_i\ d=1 I was shocked to find out Cerac / porcelain crowns are actually made of aluminum oxide. I assumed they were enamel. Guest guest
Please note that aluminum oxide is VERY different than aluminum... Guest guest
Did you read the blog, Arthur? All metals leak, perhaps slower than others, but I think the jury's still out on what's safe. According to " Cure for All Diseases " , there are no non-metal dental options. Of course, there is white composite for fillings, but there are no long term studies of the effects of BPA in dental material.
