Guest guest Posted August 25, 2002 Report Share Posted August 25, 2002 , In response to the Insurance Meltdown I must say in the defense of the people involved in claims, be it property damage or health issues, that the insurance companies need to reform their practices of insuring blindly, without inspection and testing. However because they did insure, they need to pay the claims and if they can't pay the full claim they need to negotiate payment with the claimant. This attitude of ignoring claimants, delaying payment, and denying of claim is outright wrong.
