When I was getting compounded T-gel...highest concentration I could get was

10%....this only bought my level up to ~350.

Talked with pharmacist and she said the limiting factor was that the gel

could hold only so my T powder equivalent to 10%. PCP Rxed me 10% T 2x/dy.

I apply 5 gm AndroGel 2 x/dy and my T levels are

Androgel comes in 2.5g packets and 5g packets. You can use 1 5g pack

or (1) 5g + (1) 2.5g or (2)5g packets for a total application of 5g,

7.5g or 10g.

Cypionate is usually for injectible preparations. Injections could

easily get you to 900 to 1000. I don't know whether or not you could

get that high with transdermals. 15g of Androgel might be necessary.

I went to 15G of Androgel a day and my T shot up to 1495!! Going back

to 10 GM. I think the difference was the application site. I apply to

inner thighs and sternum now. Seems to absorb better there than the

arms. I only got up to the 300s when applying to arms.

This might seem kinda wierd but...I am using 5mg pack per day from depo

shots(urologist cut me off, thought androgel would be better for trying to

have children, HA!!!). On my last depo shot 3 months ago, I started using

the androgel a few days later. A month ago I got my blood work back and my

total T was at 1040 from 264 on my last day of my cycle. Does it seem

unusual to go so high on androgel alone? Or are my levels going to continue

to fall based on me having my last depo shot and using andro almost at the

same time?

I have an appointment with another urologist specializing in fertility in a

few weeks. Im hoping to go onto HCG/HMG, well see what the SA has to say.
