Guest guest
Dave K, I imagine it's not good for E1 to be either too high or too low, same as E2. I found an interesting new article titled " SEX HORMONES IN THE MALE BRAIN: IS THERE AN EFFECT ON COGNITION? " , with some interesting new info on estrone, at: http://tinyurl.com/6euy7 Bruce > > > > > > > > > Thanks for the advice, guys. Or short term levels. ..5 mg every other day dropped my levels so low in two to three weeks, it was actually painful. I've since tried .25 mg (1/4 of a 1mg tablet) every three days and even that gets them too low. I'm now doing .25 every four days and I'm waiting to get blood work, but the four days seems a little too long. - - - - Just another albino black sheep

Guest guest
I dropped 8 lbs., possibly losing water weight from getting estrogens down. Getting T, free T & E2 balanced seems to tighten up muscles and boost metabolism, with easier weight loss.. Bruce > > Did any of you notice a loss in fat after starting Arimidex? Guest guest
Arimidex is expensive, but consider how much you use, like one quarter pill every other day. Thats eight days, I pay about two bux a pill from India Pharmco, for generic, which is about ten bux a month. But some meds from India are not as strong as they are labeled, so it occasionally takes more. But do consider the amount of med needed within a time frame to meet your needs. But of course you do not know how much that will be at this point, so perhaps more will respond and give you a middle of the road reference point to anticipate the costs. regards david Arimidex question > I've been considering Arimidex as an alternative in my therapy. Guest guest
Thanks for the input. I see my doctor in a couple of weeks and I'll run this past him. Since this appears to be a vegetarian product I may go ahead and try it. I just want to smooth out a few bumps in the road. I don't need any major adjustments. From what I've read, after aromatase converts testosterone to estrogen, estrogen competes with testosterone for receptors in the brain and hypothalamus and can effect cognitive function. I wonder if this is what's happening when we talk about the roller coaster ride symptoms? philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> wrote: I tell men to start try Indolplex/DIM first most do good at one half a tablet if your going to try this get back to me. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html This brand works but any brand that is Indolplex/DIM will work. Guest guest
Yes and no if your on TRT the cells can fill with Estradiol and this is the bad guy Estradiol " E2 " try to use this word when talking about it or you end up with the wrong treatment and tests. When the cells fill with E2 the brain thinks it is testosterone because it can't tell the difference between them. So if on TRT you can end up peeing most of your T meds down the drain. Not on TRT your brain will think the high E2 is testosterone and stop sending the LH and FSH messages to your testis to make more T. A lot of Dr.'s don't test for E2 and think when seeing a test come back with low T and the LH and FSH are also low that the man has a pituitary problem. And all he needs to do is get his E2 down and his brain then will see T is low and send the LH and FSH messages to make more. So if your on TRT high E2 is bad and if your not on TRT high E2 is bad. Guest guest
Is India Pharmco the correct name of the company. I googled that and can't find them online. Do they have a web page? Thanks.
Guest guest
My pharmacist looked at the flyer from the web on this product. He said he was familiar with this company and rated it very highly. I still want to let my doctor look at it but I may go ahead and start taking it. philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> wrote: I tell men to start try Indolplex/DIM first most do good at one half a tablet if your going to try this get back to me. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html This brand works but any brand that is Indolplex/DIM will work. Have any of you found this to be true? While it is very expensive, you don't use very much generally. I take a quarter tablet 2 to 3 times a week. 30 tablets goes a long way at that rate. Guest guest
I had initially taken HCG by itself and subsequently HCG together with Arimidex. I then came across a study which had the participants only taking Arimidex in the hopes of elevating T levels. I stopped using HCG for a few weeks and then I began taking Arimidex (0.5 mg) daily for 21 straight days. I had my blood tests done and here are the results: Total T 740 (241-827) SHBG 22 (8-48) Estradiol <32 FSH 10.5 (1.6-8.0) LH 5.4 (1.5-9.3) Thanks > > >I've been considering Arimidex as an alternative in my therapy. Guest guest
Well, it seems as if there are two options for us: To inhibit Aromatase production or to metabolize Estridiol or Estrogen. This way the E doesn't compete with T for T cell receptor sites throughout the brain, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, prostate and other parts of the body. That's my best speculation. Your numbers look pretty good. My numbers stink. There's a natural alternative to metabolizing E. I ordered a bottle but it hasn't arrived yet. Mine come in a regular perscription bottle from the pharmacy, same as any other meds. Beware of the dosage perscribed by the Dr. Most do not know hot to administer Arimidex to males and overdose. Mine started me at .5mg per day which I thought would be too high and told him so. After two weeks my E2 had gone from around a hundred to not detectable by the test. After complaining to my Dr. he has dropped me to .5mg every other day. I still believe that is going to be too high. I have no natural production of Testosterone as both gonads have been removed. I take .75cc of DepoTestosterone (Cyp) every week which is 150mg per week. That has been maintaining my Total T in the 700 to 800 range. With high E2, however, I may as well have been injecting saline solution. I am trying to get my E2 to stabilize in the 15 to 25 range and feel that .5mg of Arimidex every third day or .25 every other day will probably be sufficient. I have also considered front loading the dosage to correspond with the peaks of the IM Testosterone injection. The second and third day are peak periods. Arimidex has a 48 hour half life so it will stick around in your system for a while. Good Luck. JLC
Guest guest
I'll just add that some prescription meds slow the metabolization of estradiol such as Prilosec and Nexium and I'd assume every other proton inhibitor med for reflux, also. And certain others drugs also came have this effect. > > > > >I've been considering Arimidex as an alternative in my therapy. Guest guest
1/2 pill mon wed fri doe it for me. Keeps the E2 10-20 & the T over 600 with T 100mg/wk injections. > > > > Quick question on Arimidex. > > > > Does anyone know why there is one pill in each packet that > > says " take this pill last " , is it a placebo or something? > > > > Armyguy > > > > I have not seen the Armidex in blister packs.
