Hello everyone,

I just returned from the urologist with a diagnosis of hypogondism.

He put me on an intitial shot of 600mg of Depot-T with aditional

400mg shots every 3 weeks.

My question is how long will it take for me to start seeing results

and what kind of improvements can I expect.

I am 42 and my t reading was 138.

Also, is this going to be a roller-coaster ride or will everything

level out once the T gets built up in my system?

Thanks for all you help,

Malcolm

Malcolm,

Everyone responds differently. One of first things that I noticed was

return of morning piss hardons.

You may wish to consider going on 200 mg/week. Many men that crash have

long cycles like you will be on i.e. every three weeks. I never crashed and

I didn't loose any nut mass.

I was on 100 mg/wk Depo Apr thru Oct '01....had T levels measured twice

Blood collected 8th day after last injection of 100 mg Depo-Testosterone

My free T was TOOOOOOOO high so I asked PCP to go back onto AndroGel 10

G/dy. Someone posted that high free T can exacerbate T > E

conversion...which apparently was true. Aug 2nd my estrogen was 198 (40 -

115) and estradiol 87 (<54). That's when I asked for an Arimidex Rx. My

attempts controlling Es with ChryDim gel, over a nine month period, were

unsuccessful.

*Controlled with Arimidex - Rx

I'm still fine tuning my estrogen/estradiol levels....last results were

using 1 mg Arimidex for two days and one day off....now I'm trying one week,

1 mg Arimidex every day and 2nd week two dys on and one day off. Some men

find 1 mg Arimidex/eod....I tried that and my levels are shown from 12-5-01

bled above..

I would suggest that you obtain copies of all your lab results and maintain

them in a manner suitable for you. I have my lab results going back to

1989.

Good luck,

OR eon

I think you'll feel better with weekly T shots of around 100mg or so.

Less of a roller coaster that way. There will be a variety of

improvements that will occur over a long period of time, probably

taking months. Don't be too shocked if your testicles start to shrink

after 6 months though. You know you'll become sterile also, right?

The testosterone level will rise in a day or so. The therapeutic

benefits may take weeks or months. You may find it necessary to

increase or lessen the dose for maximum benefit.

More frequent doses of lesser amounts will help lessen any roller-

coaster effect. The following link may prove informative:
