Arimidex Vs. Compounded Anastrozole

Is anyone else here taking a compounded version of anstrozole as

opposed to the name brand of arimidex from astra zeneca?

The reason I ask, is that my Dr. was kind enough to write me a scrip

for Arimidex, but we believe I will only need about .25mg per day. A

future blood test will help me fine tune the amount of course. In the

meantime, it is very difficult to break those tablets into quarters

since they are so small. Subsequently, at my next appointment, I was

thinking about asking for a scrip of the compounded version of

anstrozole to make sure I am getting the .25mg per day. There is a

copmpounding pharmacy right in the same building where my doc is so

it would be handy.

Looking for any feedback.

Thanks,

I am not taking a compounded version (or the regular version) but I

would like to know what you find out about it since many people share

your dosing problem.
