Guest guest
I know it is scaey to hear things about some of these Doctors. By knowing in advance, your eart won't be as broken. Here is the final letter I wrote to him. It took me almost 6 months to get him to write the truth in a medical report. We finally went to Dr. Eckardt Johanning in Albany. He told us the truth. He is very expensive. Don't forget that MGH, and many other hospitals across the Nation, are teaching hospitals. They ger grants from NIH, CDC and insurance companies. The CDC and NIH refuse to allow the medical truth known about Toxic Mold. The NIH has a study into Toxic Mold going on. They chairperson appointed is from Harvard. She testified in trial in Canada that Toxic Mold is no big deal. Can you guess what her study will say, NO BIG DEAL! Also remember that insuramce companies give grants to teaching hospitals. Sometimes I think it should be called hush money. Insurance companies are also one of the biggest campaign contributors to political candidates. Now you know why these politicans won't let any talk about Toxic Mold. It is the same old story, big money can buy anybody that lacks ethics. Sadly, we suffer when they sellout to the highest bidder. Ken April 30, 2002 Dr. Aidan Long Clinical Director, Allergy Allergy Associates Massachusetts General Hospital 55 Fruit St. WACC 626 Boston, Ma. 02114-2617 Fax: 617-724-0239 Dear Dr. Long; On March 23, 2002, I faxed you the attached letter. You called me a few days later to discuss the issues I raised. As of this date, neither you or your associate, Dr. Krishna have made any corrections to the Medical report you issued on my Wife, Virginia. As you recall, you admitted in our telephone conversation that you did not include any information about Virginia taking a breathing test. More importantly, you failed to mention the fact that she had failed the breathing test. Your failure to correct this medical and professional error continues to give me major problems with the accuracy of what you reported by leaving this critical piece of information out. Your reports must also be corrected to show the actual date of our examinations. You state that we were seen on December 6, 2001 and Dr. Krishna states, by the date of her report, that we were seen on December 13, 2001. As you know, we were actually seen on Friday December 7, 2001. This is a day after you state you saw us and six days before Dr. Krishna states she saw us. Will you correct these errors of omission and inaccurate reporting and send us new reports ? These reports are required to show the actual medical results of the test you did on Virginia. By your failure to correct these facts in your reports, you have denied Virginia the opportunity to present the Medial " FACTS " of her exams to other Doctors. Yours Truly, Ken Moulton Virginia Moulton 38 Hawser Bend Centerville, Ma. 02632 CC: Dr. Vandana Krishna
Guest guest
Well, Ken.......you were right. I made the trip all the way to Boston to see Dr. Aiden Long today referred by my ENT wwho jas been treating me for a year. He told us that there is no known truth that Toxic Mold can make you sick. He said only been proven in animals. I had an environ mental report stating how spores were high enough to cause respiratory disease and he wouldnt even look at it. Then...he did skin tests.....all the molds I showed up positive here from ENT(and I went into asthma mind you during them,) there they told me were all negative. IWe asked about these detox centers in Texas and he said they have them, but most call them hocus-pocus.I did get him to say toxins can make you sick. But he said then...my problem could be secondary allergies from being highly allergic to grass an trees and wanted to give me a nose spray to desensitize my nose. I then let him know I had been on it for a year so he gave me another one saying he gives this 40 percent chance of working. He did say I have increased thickening in my sinus.from my catscan up here in June then last October. He said though that Octobers showed me having open sinus. I then told him a few montha after that I had surgery for a deviated septum so they werent open and three docs had told me that. I have a workmans comp claim and an attorney waiting for this info from Boston. This isnt good. Here I tested positive to twelve molds and fungals and others are now getting sick where I worked.I told him I could smell the mold in his rug, I can smell rain two hours before it comes, sitting next to plants gives me what I call instant pnemonia.I have to wear a 3m mask and am sensitive to strong smells. He didnt want to hear it. I am trying to get an appt. with an Environmental Dr. I was so upset even though I half expected it from you guys telling me.My next plan is to find an Environmental Doctor. Guest guest
Janet, Sorry that it didn't work out at MGH. See if you can get into their infectious disease clinic. I don't know if they are any good but it can't hurt. Here is the E-mail for a Doctor in th4e Braintree area. He is suppose to be good. I don't know. Maybe he can help. Good luck. Dr. Hu, hhu@....
