Why is it that a citizen of the United States feels that another citizen can help them more than their own elected officials? The reason is that you have all shown through your words and actions that big business and special interest are more important than We the People. This Lady, and many others across America need help, NOW! If you can spend our money to bail out corporations that are mismanaged, why not start helping Americans that are being robbed everyday by bad builders, corrupt realtors and corrupt and incompetent local and state building inspectors. While We the People are not a special interest group, we ALL have two things in common. We are Americans and WE VOTE! Ken Moulton 508-771-6365 I moved to Colorado in 1998. Purchase a less than one year old home built by Richmond Homes in Superior. Immediately I noticed a large amount of water being pumped out of sump pump. Over the next to years they came out to my house and said it was normal. When I finally smelled sewer and by the way the stench was inside my house and outside in May of 2001, they came out and found that my soil under the sub floor in basement had heaved so much it crushed my sewer and gray water pipes. They immediately moved my 3 children, dog and cat to the Residence inn. During the time period while they were excavating my house I was present when a area that was dug had an active stream running into my basement. They did nothing to divert the water, at that time also the cement wall in the basement, same area is actually pushing out at the top, approx. 2". The replaced the pipes, flooring, front landscaping after the repairs were done. within 3 months the front soil started sinking, cracks that were present appeared larger, and the front porch that was new, started moving away from the house. Winter came and went, nothing more was done on the house. My children and I started suffering from sinus infections, headaches, difficulty sleeping, coughing, ect. we have been generally pretty healthy. I do have an asthmatic son that is under doctors scare all the time. I decided to send him home to California for the summer. Within 2 weeks his symptoms subsided. I hire PIE (Professional Investigative Engineers), to survey my house. He found biological growth under the sub floor. No wonder we were all sick. Also at this time my 3 year old choc lab developed a respiratory ailment. While Richmond had the report in their hands, I became so sick that I was hospitalized with pneumonia. I came home from hospital and moved back into the Residence Inn. The work started all over again.................... The basement was put in containment, the mold was cleaned out, new plastic barrier was put down. At my insistence an air test was done. However inconclusive, Richmond decided they were going to stop paying for my stay at the hotel, and they declared the house mold free. Please note that within 2 weeks after we left the house our symptoms went away, even the dog. We moved back into the house, with the comment: "see if you all get sick again" I am a single mother of 3 children. My children are the most important part of my life. Because I could not afford a mortgage and a rental expense I moved back into the house "trusting" Richmond's advice. Well with in a week we started coughing, chest pains, headaches, ect.......... 3 out of 4 of us are diagnosed with sinus infections, headaches and upper resporatory ailments. Even my choc lab has the symptoms again! I just do not know what to do. Richmond homes will not take care of me, I need to know what direction to go. One final comment: My house pumps out approx. 1500 gallons a day even in a drought year! In the winter it freezes and forms an ice pond in front of my house. Can you help me? I suffer from extreme hypersensitivity to molds from a toxic mold basement that I worked in for years on a federal shipyard. I am sick, live in two rooms with air cleaners and wear a 3m mask all the time. Senator Snowe knows of me I am sure through her advisor Morin. I am paying all expenses as the shipyard Resource agency is allowed to send lies and hold things up and refuse to help me,ambush me me with meetings with high officials when I am very sick as I am not allowed to stay home...and not let me see what they send to OWCP. I have no place to go so am staying with a friend. I am a single mother of a teenager and missing all the mother daughter senior year things. A corrupt non believer Doctor Aiden Long in Boston has made me worse by high dosage testing and says Toxic Mold sickness is hocus pocus.So now I am back on steroids as his testing affected my muscles and gave me a horrible severe ear infrction. His clinic is funded federally as well as by isurance companies. Is that ok? To give money to a place that caused me to almost die from allergic shock? I cannot sit next to plants as instant asthma. I cannot go outside as ground mold sends me into asthma. I have never had asthma in my life before thisI now have severe ear infections as well and at work they hid an environmentaal report for a year that this place was toxic and people should be told incase they needed to seek medical help. They want to hide me so they say I have to go to work and they move me from room to room like a gunea pig untill I get sick in each room. I have been a federal employee for 16 years. I vote,I am an American.I am a mother. Why is there no help? Why do we suffer and get hidden away and ignored? Untill we die. I think I am slowly dying. I have no immune system left and am not calming down. I cant afford doctors because the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Agency is allowed to send wrong information to OWCP. Do we all, families, mothers, children have to die before someone addressess this? I am appalled as a government employee, a Technical Information Specialist with Secret Clearance, of the lies and cover ups, but you all would want me to vote for you if you offer no help for me? I dont think so.Thank you Ken. I hope you do not mind me writing as well. I am at wits end. Please let me know of any way I can help. I posted it here for everybody to read.I also sent her communications from the CDC about Toxic Mold for her review. By her reply to me, I think she understands the Toxic Mold issue a little better. Perhaps some of you might want to communicate with the CDC as I have done in the past. Put them on the hot seat. You can also write to the Army at Ft. Dietrich land on the issue. Get copies of their sudies if you haven't already done so. I post here to inform of what I am trying to do. There are also many web sites that offer information and education on Toxic Mold. , if you want a definition on Toxic Mold you might want to write to the CDC or Dr. Eckardt Johanning or Dr. Lipsey. I would start with Dr. johanning or Dr. Lipsey first. Van Raalte, Dr Johannings remediologist told me that he had " Seen Stachy falling off the ceiling into babies cribes without developing the type of reactivity you describe " . The type of reactivity I have is the type that allowed me to locate a spore plume in Dr Marinkovich's own reception room and prove it to him.
