Guest guest
Hi Ladies, The only ones I have seen provided, are the post-surgical bras designed to accomodate the drains, and that was about all they were good for -- other than comfort! Guest guest
I wore a compression bandage for 2 weeks, with a surgical bra over that, it was provided by my PS. After the bandage came off I wore a soft bra that I bought at victorias secret called a bralette, it was not at all flattering but it was soft and with my lift incisions I could not wear any kind of form fitting bra, I don't personally believe that the bra will shape your breasts that much, I think that mostly it is needed for support. At 3 months post op I could wear underwires again and I love my underwire bras, I like the water and gel and air bras all about the same, they feel nice and are very flattering, I feel that I am kind of naked without a bra but I do workout without one and am ok with that look as well, but I rarely go without a bra other than the working out, then I wear a nice soft supportive sports bra. I was worried about sagging again and asked Dr Feng if I should be concerned about sagging again if I lost weight, she assured me that I don't have enough breast tissue to ever sag again, ha I guess that is good news. I would aks your PS if they will be providing you with a sports bra, they should. I would also get a sports bra and one of those soft demi type bras, that come well below the crease so that those scars don't get irritated, I think that is where your implants will be removed from right? When is your surgery date sweetie? Let us know so that we can pray for you and support you in any way you need us to. Guest guest
Thanks CJ and -Marie, I guess I will just go along with a couple of different bra's. She did not mention that she will supply a surgical bra, so I guess she won't be. -Marie, when is your date for mastopexy? CJ, my surgery date is May 28th. Guest guest
I don't recall anyone telling me they would give me a surgical bra either I just woke up in one. Ask her I bet they will, it is pretty standard. Good luck and keep in touch ----- Original Message ----- From: " kelijaye " <keli72@...> < > Sent: Sunday, May 12, 2002 8:44 PM Subject: Re: Opinions please on post op bra's......... > Thanks CJ and -Marie, > > I guess I will just go along with a couple of different bra's.
