Guest guest
I was surprised to learn of men's dislike of implants until recently I thought that men didn't care. My husband told me he didn't want to hurt my feelings but that the first time we were together when I had the implants, he thought they felt weird and were too big. He said he didn't want to tell me that but since I was under the impression that men like implants that he though I should know that. He also told me that if I thought that men were staring at these girl with big fake boobs out of wanting to date them that I was wrong and that most men would stare sure, but later on they would laugh at the girl and say nasty comments about her. I don't think that any of us got implants to be the butt of a joke did we? I wonder how many times people laughed at me when I had those D cups in me. I know at the time I didn't think that anyone noticed but looking back I am sure everyone I new could tell they were fake. They sure don't feel real either. There is just nothing about implants that is good, I say that natural is where it is at, if you have sag go get a good vertical lift and forget implants, you will be happy that you did, lets face it also no one really knows the longer term affect either, what will happen to these women when they are in their 60's, and how many times will they have to be having them replaced, it is interesting how many women just get implants without even thinking about the future. ----- Original Message ----- From: " DiMar_43 " <dimar_43@...> < > Sent: Saturday, May 11, 2002 10:59 AM Subject: Closed Door - PS > As an aside: My friend had a double masectomy in '81, silicone > implants; started having joint problems in 95; silicone removed and > saline implants put in; she became increasingly afflicted with a > number of ailments; saline implants removed fall of 2000; and she's > been on a downhill slide ever since. > > After reading the horror stories I've seen in the last couple > months, I should think anyone even thinking about implants of any > kind would put that thought on hold for a very long time. Guest guest
Well your lucky that they have not pushed new implants on you Lani cause most of them will do that, but I also think that they can kind of tell the women who are not sure they want to explant and I do believe that if you are clear about your desires to be implant free the PS's are less likely to push a new set of implants at you. It is not too often that you will find any Dr or PS that is willing to admit the illness and symptoms can be associated with the implants, besides in all honesty most Dr's are unaware of these problems as we were, and as the general public is, they don't know any more than we did, and they believe the saline implants to be safe. The majority of Dr's are not really setting out to be mean to us, they honestly don't believe that these implants could be on the market if they were dangerous, not trying to defend them, but the fact remains that just as we who got implants thought they were safe so do these Dr's but, the thing is that when we go to them and tell them what is going on they really should believe us and at least treat us with respect. Let us know when you find out about your explant date, we care and we will all support you as you go through this, don't worry too much, 99.9% of all the women I have spoken to are thrilled with their body after explant, hang in there ----- Original Message ----- From: Lani Sent: Sunday, May 12, 2002 3:04 PM Subject: Re: Closed Door - PS I HAVE NEVER HAD A PS TELL ME THAT I HAD TO RE-IMPLAN DUE TO DEFORMANTY.
