Gas Pains after Lapro Surgery

Anyone know a good, fast way to get rid of these painful gas pains after

lapro surgery? I am walking every hour a lttle bit. Help this is

painful.

, Try to keep yourself in an upright position as much as possible (vs lying down on the sofa, or some similar position). Walking is good, and you need to try to do this as much as possible. Also, deep breathing and coughing will help expel the gas used during surgery (providing they did a lap chole and not an open chole). It can take 24-48 hrs to get the gas out, so be patient, even though I know it is uncomfortable. Been there, done that!! I am glad your surgery went well.
