Guest guest
To anybody out there that can help. After being sick with hashimto's with hypothyroidism, a goiter and nodule, also arthritic symptoms, hair loss and all, I am in the process of removing my implants. I finally got ahold of my operative report. I found out who the maker of my implants are. I have a few questions? How do I find out if my Mentor implants saline filled style 1600 are the textured type of implants or are they smooth? Does anybody know? Or is theere a web site? Thanks,
Guest guest
Hey , Go into www.mentorcorp.com and then into breast augmentation and they have different sorts of implants with device numbers. I didn't see a style 1600, but my guess is that they are smooth because all the smooth implants are 'around' this number. You could go into the site and e-mail them and ask them whether they are smooth or textured. Are your implants very old? Perhaps they don't make that style anymore? Either way, they should have some sort of info for you. Are you using your implanting surgeon for removal? Regards, Keli. > To anybody out there that can help. Guest guest
, Your doc should have stated in your op report whether the implants were textured or smooth. Or someone (the RN) should have made a note of it somewhere. If not, you can call Mentor directly and either ask them if this particular style is textured or not, and/or have them send you information on this style. I don't have Mentor's phone #, but if you get onto their website, it should be available. e ----- Original Message ----- From: JULIEJJPALANCA@...
