Guest guest Posted July 17, 2002 Report Share Posted July 17, 2002 There has been some talk about contacts, and while I agree that if we had problems with silicone that we should be wary of these items as well, but at least the contacts are not surgically installed in our bodies, implants are so dangerous, and they are stuck in you. I remember feeling so trapped with them inside me, no one ever warned me that I might feel that way, even had I not got ill I am not so sure I ever could have felt that comfortable with them there, who knows. ANyhow I am glad that at least for now I don't need help with my eyesight, but ya know what they say about that usually by the time your 45 years old you need glasses.
