-Marie, I am hanging in there. Working hard and a lot, and moving AGAIN! My move is July 6. But I am going back to Denver in Aug, so I have something to look forward to. I'm going to file a lawsuit in Denver court against my insurance company for not paying my bone marrow bx and cervical spinal surgery. And while I'm there I'm going to see my neurosurgeon, see my cardiac surgeon (he and I are very close ever since I was dc'd from his care), see my rheumy, and of course visit friends, and enjoy cooler weather!! How are you doing? I have thought of you a lot recently and wondered how everything is going. Drop me a line when you have time. e ----- Original Message ----- From: perlesetlacet@... , No, I had done plenty of research to know that again, I would be dealing with a foreign body, so I was adamantly opposed to the clamps. Instead, she cauterized them. And because I am so dead set against having children, she cauterized a much longer portion of the tubes than they usually do. So, no, no metal in my body anymore at all!! e ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Friday, June 28, 2002 6:50 AM Subject: e When you had your tubal did they use clamps? i heard those are silicone too!

I figured that you would be smarter than that but was wondering about it.

So your moving back to Denver is that right?

Wow, that is a lot of moves in one year, when is the day set?

A friend of mine had a car accident and her spinal x-rays showed one

of her clamps had come off and was just sort of floating around. The

Dr. was not concerned at all! I would have freaked and demanded they

retreive it, but it's about nine years since the accident now and

she hasn't had any trouble - yet. I would also be worried about

falling pregnant.

Yeah I agree with Patty would love to see your pics e.

I still don't have a scanner but I believe Patty does, she posted my pictures that I mailed to her before when my scanner didn't work, maybe you can arrange to have her scan some of your pics too that would be terrific!

Hugs

e,

I meant to ask you before, when you mentioned that you used to model in fashion magazines....I'd love to see some of those pictures! Can you share with us some of your portfolio?

Thanks!

Patty

, I began modeling when I was 15, back in NJ where I grew up. I did local stuff, and it progressed from there. I actually was dating a guy who was a model in the Mountain Dew commercials (I don't know if you remember, but back in the late 80's, there was a commercial where a bunch of people ran and jumped off a deck into a lake, all with Mountain Dew). Well, one of the guys was the guy I was dating, Joe Sikora. He also did Levi's jeans ads and commercials. Anyway, he is the one who encouraged me to go to a modeling agency. I did, and got my portfolio started. I was 18 when I did this. I modeled up until the age of 20, then stopped, and then restarted again in 1995-1996 when I got my implants. Then interestingly enough, no one wanted me for ads anymore because my breasts "didn't look natural on me." And then I got sick and the rest is history. e ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Saturday, August 10, 2002 10:11 PM Subject: Re: e e, Why would anyone get mad and say mean things about you. I think it would be neat to see your pics. I have many of my pics on the site, face boobs all and no one has ever said anything mean to me, I mean at least not on the group, I am not a model but I still think I look good and I am not afraid or embarased or worried about what anyone would think so I am not sure why you would think anyone on this group would be rude to you for being a model or whatever. I would love to see these, I have read cosmo for years, but don't have any that old laying around. you must have been very young when you did these shoots. I don't have a scanner, though, and my portfolio costs way too much to send in the mail. I will tell you that I was in the March issue of Glamour, 1989 (don't know what page, as I just have the raw pics from the shoot), was in the May issue of Glamour, 1989, the May issue of Mademoiselle, 1989. These were all swimsuit ads for CK, and I did some perfume ads for CK as well. I can go through my "stuff" and see if I can find the mags and what page they are on if you want to get back issues. I have also been in Cosmo various times for again, CK swimsuits and those issues ranged from April 1987-July 1990. Most of my shoots were for Glamour. I did a few for Vogue for some high end clothes, perfume, and shoes. I'm looking into getting a scanner so I can post my before and after BI pics, so when I get it, I would be more than happy to post my modeling pics. Just as long as no one gets mad and starts saying mean things about me.... e ----- Original Message ----- From: ~*Patty*~ Sent: Saturday, August 10, 2002 5:35 PM Subject: e e, I meant to ask you before, when you mentioned that you used to model in fashion magazines....I'd love to see some of those pictures!
