While essential oils are the purest form of scent, don't forget about the other things that can affect your mood through smell. For example, aren't most people fond of the smell of baking bread? This smell makes you feel warm and homey. If you need to feel safe and secure at home, just bake a loaf of bread, rather than reaching for those oils. Also, if you have a favorite perfume that always makes you feel good, spray that around your house. You don't have to go out and purchase an expensive set of essential oils to gain the benefits of aromatherapy!
