Guest guest Posted July 13, 2002 Report Share Posted July 13, 2002 HI DARLENE , SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO RESPOND TO YOUR MESSAGE , BUT I HAVE BEEN BUSY AROUND THE HOUSE, I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I TOO GOT SICK JUST ONE MONTH AFTER I GOT MY IMPLANTS, AND ITS BEEN 3YRS NOW . IM GETTING MINE OUT SEPT. 6TH. I HAVE BEEN THRU HELL AND BACK AND YES IT CAN BE A ALLERGIC REACTION. IVE BEEN TOLD BY SEVERAL DOCTORS(AND IM SURE WERE GONNA HEAR A LOT OF SLACK ON WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY , BUT THEY TOLD ME THAT ITS VERY RARE. I know it can vary but she asks..........Do you think that because I got sick so soon after having the implants (1 month) that I may just be allergic to silicone? I have tried to find more info on silicone hypersensitivity, but only found info about fungus, mold and bacteria growing on the implants.
