New to HCG

After three years on T-replacement, both Androgel and now Depo-T

injections, my fertility is nill. A new specialist is trying me on

HCG and tamoxifin. He has Rx'ed 2000 units HCG every other day.

Seems like posts I've read...men on much lower doses. Anyone on such

a high dose of HCG? Anyone inject every other day? What gauge needle

y'all use? What length needle? You still inject HCG in the glutes

(buns) as with Testosterone Ciprionate??

Thanks.

Joe,

That is the exact current dosage that I am on currently. I started out on 1000

units 3 times a week, but had moved up to 2000 every other day because my total

testosterone levels dropped from 676 down to 244. My doctor allows me to change

my dosage if I feel I need to. I guess I did pretty good, huh?

Honestly, your dosage is still not incredibly high. There is a regime for

hypogonadal men that call for 5000 units 3 times a week, and I have heard of

some people taking up to 6500 units at a time, although there are some people

that take far less. My personal opinion is that you need a larger amount in the

beginning of the treatment to stimulate the growth of the lydig cells in the

testes (these produce the testosterone), then it may be possible to lower the

dosage to a maintenance amount. But I am early into my own hCG treatment and I

am still studying it.

I use a 30 gauge, ½ inch needle, with a syringe that has a 3CC capacity. I am

currently taking my hCG subcutaneous in the abdomen. I was able to do this

because I was pointed to 5 medical journal studies done over the past few years

that prove that hCG is just as effective this way as it was if given IM. If you

want to go this route, send me a private email and I will send these to you.

What is the tamoxifin for? I am unsure of what that is.

Good luck,

Connery

Thanks for the information !

The Tamoxifin is an estrogen blocker to keep E from binding into my

Testosterone receptors. Apparantly it is quite common for estrogen to

do this.

I am glad to know that someone else is on this dose.

Thanks again, . I will keep ya posted!

I do this much testosterone shots a month but I do my shots every 3 days to help

keep me leveled and to hold down Estradiol E2 levels. I read Dr. Shippen does

this for him self so I told my Dr. and he let me try this best thing I ever did.

I shoot 80mgs every 3 days and I do 400 IU's of HCG the 2 days each in between

my T shots. I do both using a 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle shooting IM. I don't

like doing HCG subQ I don't feel the shot until it's late in the day.

I must worn you don't do big shots of HCG never do more then 500 IU's in a day.

IF you keep doing them big shots you will desensitize your testis to it. And

become Primary read Dr. 's site TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG Update

at www.allthingsmale.com. Also don't do HCG a week before your labs doing so

will show high untrue levels for both T and E2.

Most Dr.'s read the label on HCG and do this the dose your taking is for women

trying to make a baby.

I haven't taken any yet, I wanted to make sure that I got some infor from you

guys first. I tried breaking up my dose throughout the week and didn't mind

much benifit from it, other than sore spots. Its just not for me right now.

The article you linked to suggested 500IU every other day. I think I'm going to

drop that to 250 IU and see how I feel. If I'm not feeling like i should then

I'll bump it up in 50 IU increments until I feel proper.

New regimine.

1ml of 200mg/ml test cyp weekly

1/4 arimidex every other day

250 iu HCG every other day sub q

Sound good? Any suggestions? Sorry to ask so many questions but I've been on

Testosterone for 7 years and never even tried hcg. Any info from those that

have would be great.

I take 200mg a week of Test. I split the shots and do 100mg twice a week and

250IU of HCG the day before each Test shot.

You need to understand one thing about taking hormones it's not like taking a

pain pill that works in 15 min.'s you need to give it time like 8 weeks to see

if it makes you feel better. As for Sore spots what size needle do you use. I

use a small 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle and shoot into my thigh picking a

different spot for each shot and a different leg each time. Using this size

needle there is not pain and it takes a little time to get the T oil out of the

vile. So I just pull the plunger all the way down and just hold it until I get

more then my dose then I push it back into the vile with any air until I have my

dose.

Hi,

like me you're on the upper end of the test dosages...

I do:

-175mg of a test blend weekly

-1/4mg of arimidex eod

-250iu of hcg on the 2 days before the weekly test shot

(when your test levels are on the downslide)

the hcg eod thing is more for the guys doing their test every 3 days... so their

hcg is more frequent too... or at least that's how I understand it.

and if like me you have a harder time doing the sub-q shots you can just IM... I

stick myself in the upper arm while I'm standing at the refrigerator since the

hcg is in the fridge.

I've been on this for a while and other than upping the theoretical hcg dose

toward the end of the vial (5000 units lasts a long time and I'm figuring it's

deteriorating somewhat after like 2 months so I'll up it to 300iu the last few

of doses from a vial)
