Guest guest
I agree with this, I can even pull off material easily from my implants after they were removed. I think this does expose the body to more silicone. Also with them being rougher in texture, it harbors more growth of unwanted bacteria ect, and my PS said when he removes the textured type, the area appears to be 'redder & more irritated'. Another PS in Ca stated they notice a type of 'film' growing over this type, and will not even use textured implants. Guest guest
AND, let's not forget that I had my SMOOTH implants for only 11 months and had fluid around them. PLUS the tenderness on the right in the tissue that was getting worse (it didn't start out sore). I wasn't sick BUT my body definately did not like those implants, who know's what may have occured down the track! I am still thankful that I didn't have the textured ones though, especially after what I have heard about the flaking...YUCK! Scary stuff, Huh? What you say about the ladies who absolutely LOVE their implants, I bet in the back of their minds they worry everyday that something may go wrong. I'm so glad I don't have to worry anymore and can get on with life and hopefully help someone else out like so many of you girls have helped me. And , don't be surprised if some of those ladies that have been down right NASTY will one day be on this site asking for HELP! These are the girls that like to stick their heads in the sand and hope nothing happens and that is WHY they get so defensive and negative towards you because they are SCARED (whether they have realised it or not, yet). So in a way, I feel sorry for them, it's just my nature. Love Keli. > > > My thoughts about textured implants . . . > > > > > > In addition to providing tiny particles that shed more > > > easily, textured implants expose the body to a much > > > greater area of silicone . . . > > > > > > Think in terms of how much more ground you cover if > > > you measure up and down hills, versus in a straight > > > line, as on a map. > > > > > > Rogene > > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________ > > >
